Each utility strategy is different and UBBA is the best resource for utilities to ask questions and collaborate about broadband solutions to meet the coverage, resilience, reliability, and cybersecurity requirements for their utility. Reliable and resilient communications are critical for power utility operations. The loss of communications to any sensor, recloser or other parts of the distribution system reduces the effectiveness of the power grid. At the 2022 UBBA Summit & Plugfest in Costa Mesa, our members led six Tuesday Technical Session to dive deeper into some of the critical areas of utility communications infrastructure.
